Faulty helmet
Bouth a helmet 2 weeks ago and ***** came loose causing the helmet to be unsafe. Brought it back to store but they refuse to exchange the helmet saying drive all the way to Midrand to see if the manufacturer can fix it. But they say they are 100% CPA compliant. In the interim I have to drive on a motorcycle with a faulty helmet putting me at risk. Signs in store says we are happy to exchange ..... but should be - we are happy to exchange as longs as the item you buy from us is not faulty.

According to Cpa guideline if faulty due to factory workmanship your helmet will definitely fall under a repair warranty or replacement if deemed necessary however standard protocol is that the damaged helmet needs to go to our supplier to review to see if it qualifies for warranty. We believe the branch manager Vin Horn dealt directly with you and explained this scenario and even gave you a loan helmet whilst this process takes place. Please rest assured we will do our utmost to make sure this warranty claim is processed as soon as possible.
