Dear Sir

We have investigated your claims and the following has come to light .

Once we had completed the tyre fitment a double check was done on the bike bolts and it needs to be noted that the bike came in with a freshly sprayed mudguard and the bolts were loose on arrival and inspection.

We tightened these bolts and if the came loose again then perhaps its an thread issue or are stripped from whom ever sprayed the mudguard.

We hope this answers some questions.

Best regards

management

Good day, The mudgaurd was resprayed yes, but there is/was no thread issues whatsoever seeing that the bolts that I used were new, and this does not explain as to why the front wheel axle was loose, even with the new bolts that I had to replace the old ones with(the bolts that got lost) fit perfect and I did not have any issues afterwards. And the bolts were not loose when I arrived at the workshop seeing that I sprayed the mudgaurd and fitted new bolts the day before I had the tyres changed. Please do not try to cover up the responsible staff members negligence. I have noticed that you do have cctv in the workshop where you can clearly see how the guy that s****ed working on my bike passed the job on to another (Seemed somewhat inexperienced seeing that he did not even know how to fit the front wheel) so that he can assist another client of yours with the fitment of a offroad tyre change. I also noticed that you have a sheet for torque setting for the different bikes against one of the walls of the tyre bay, should these guidelines not be followed? Regards, Ronnie

Was the bike returned or reported on the day of the incident by yourself ?

We are going back anf forth with he said she said it would be better if we had clarity who inspected the bike post the claim. We have two persons present to collaborate the bolts were loose.

Ps the tyre fitters are qualified and been fitting tyres for 10 years.

Regards

Best regards,

When I fitted the tyres, I immediately went back when the first bolts came loose****erally riding out of the workshop), The Monday morning when I got to the Office the others were gone and I found the shaft bolt was loose. I can not see why you have to try to pin the issue on me and trying to insinuate that my bike parts were faulty to s**** off with, If you actually checked the video footage you would see who worked on my bike, don't know why that is so hard to do. Your qualified fitters are trying to cover for each other because my wife was with me during the fitment process and she can also confirm everything. Clearly you have no concern for the safety or satisfaction of your customers, especially if you try to blame the the problem on me(Faulty bike parts), you should know better than anyone else that a persons bike is his prized possession and one rides with pride. You are trying so hard to cover for your guys and avoid negative publicity that you looked pass the possibility of a simple apology. I was not trying to get you to replace or fix anything on my bike as I have already done that, I wanted to bring the issue to light so that you can sort out the service delivery and make sure that this does not occur again in the future.
