Appreciate manager; improvements noted, but maintenance delays and communication issues persist.

I would like to bring to your attention some feedback regarding the building management at Licence Hall. Firstly, I would like to express my appreciation for appointing a mature and dedicated building manager, Mpho. Since his arrival, there has been noticeable improvement. The building is more orderly and cleaner than before. While it may not yet be at the desired standard, it is certainly progressing in the right direction. Maintenance issues are being addressed, and he consistently follows up, even when some matters remain unresolved. He is a man of his word, unlike previous experiences where promises were made without results. I also appreciate his professionalism—he handles tenant concerns privately in the office and ensures that Marvin is involved and guided on how to handle situations. However, I would like to raise some concerns. Marvin often forgets to respond to my queries and does not always follow up. While I understand that challenges may arise, as a paying tenant, I expect timely communication and support. I do not believe he is a bad person, but the lack of response can be frustrating. Additionally, maintenance remains a significant concern. Progress is very slow, and I am currently dealing with dim lights and a leaking unit (705). Although the building managers have inspected the issue, no action has been taken yet. This delay is disappointing. Despite these challenges, I am not considering moving out, as there is now a sense of order in the building. I kindly request that the outstanding maintenance issues in my unit be addressed as a matter of urgency. Thank you for your attention to this matter. LucenceHall Unit0705
