I needed an inexpensive storage device. I found this USB with 2TB. Like an idiot, I made the payment. Then, I saw the name of the supplier, Zhijiangshi Mengtang Dianzishangwuyouxiangongsi. I asked co-pilot for more information about the company. Apparently the company is in some remote part of China. The company does not have a website and only appears on the Fruugo website. I questioned why some obscure Chinese company would be a supplier of Lenovo products. Sounded very suspicious. I had already made the payment and I thought that maybe it is a legitimate business. Then, I waited for the device to be delivered. There was only one notification of the progress of the shipping. Other online businesses give regular and daily updates. The device arrived. I wanted to store all my data from my old laptop on the device. That is when the problems really started. I copy pasted first few folders onto the USB. I then thought that it would be easier if I cut and paste. What a disaster! The folders were copied, but all my folder contents were lost. Years and years of work was lost. I had textbooks and power point presentations that I have used for years for the learners that I teach. Obviously, I first checked my recycle bin. Every little trace of the documents was lost!!!!! I have tried absolutely every suggestion I could find on the internet to recover the files. I used Disk Drill, Recuva, EaseUS and others. I am devastated about this. So much of my life work has been lost. Further, I am extremely proficient and skilled with Office and related programmes. I will never purchase from this site again! If I could I would sue the pants off of them! This site is *************.
