Not happy about paying custom dues when collecting my parcel

Hi. I bought sneakers online from Fruugo on the 31st of January. It took about 6 weeks before I got my of which I did not mind because it coming from UK. The issue is they didn't tell me that I am going to pay custom dues when I receive my parcel. My order number is ***1. I was asked to pay R1198 at the Post office before I can get my parcel. I am not happy about this.
