Fruugo the *****sters!

I just want to warn people not to use Fruugo if you buy online! I recently tried them for the first time and it has been an absolute waste of money! I bought a pair of eye glasses they are advertising called Adjustable Eye Glasses Dial Vision Variable Focus Eyewear Distance Reading (Adjustable Eye Glasses Dial Vision Variable Focus Eyewear Distance Reading). It cost just R209.00 for the eye glasses but R295.49 for the shipping the 0.06kg tiny box it arrived in. It took 3 weeks to arrive and when it did I was honestly shocked by the quality of the product! It was the type of very very poor quality you might expect from a cheapy R5.00 Chinese made kids toy, and is absolutely incapable of even focusing in the slightest way! Clearly a **** product created just to draw customers in and ***** their money! Heilongjiang Mengnaoyue Technology is the retailer on Fruugo! I requested a return from Fruugo and received instructions that I needed to return the item at my own expense ie. pay the return international postage which needs to be tracked postage too! They therefore want me to spend more money above the original R504.49 they charged me to return the defective product they sold me!? *******! Avoid if you don't want to throw your money away like I just did! Unlike Takealot Amazon or even Temu, Fruugo clearly are not an online seller you can trust!
