Fruugo is a NoGo

You will find anything you want on this site. Problem is : You pay but goods NEVER arrive. So you go back to the site to try & to track your item/ or launch an enquiry / or send an email to the seller. Their site system is cleverly designed to always end your enquiry with "PROBLEM RESOLVED". So you don't get anywhere ..... EVER. I tried to cancel my payment with my bank, now they want proof of your efforts to track your purchase. How do you give proof when everything is processed via the website and your enquiries are always resolved. I ordered an item early in October 2023. I got one confirmation email, with an arrival/ delivery date for the end of October. Then a tracking number which, when l search for the shipping company, takes me to a 404 error site. I have never had another email with another tracking number for South Africa. Then l got a suspicious SMS asking me to confirm my delivery address, but l have no idea who the SMS is from, nor what item / order it is about. No reference/ order no. given for you to recognise or link it to an item you ordered last year. A very costly experience all round and a useless system for following up on your order! Use this website at your own risk to buy anything! It should have a warning on it ..... GOODS PAID FOR MAY NEVER ARRIVE.
