Extremely poor service

I wanted to check stock availability and delivery dates on a small item (a noodle bowl). I had to enter my card details before I could check that. I did, and then it said "thank you for your purchase", without any warning or request for confirmation. Apparently the merchant is in the US and with shipping and taxes the bowl costs more than double the amount stated on the website. Nowhere was this indicated before it accepted my "purchase". I immediately sent a message saying that I want to cancel the purchase, and ever since then I've been met with *********** copy-paste replies saying that orders that have already been shipped can't be cancelled. There is no way that the order was shipped from the US withing 5 minutes of my "purchase". Unless Fruugo can cancel my order (which I did not want to make), I'm going to actively tell everyone I meet to avoid these *******.
