Buyer Beware

As other reviewers have stated an appalling on-line business! Fruugo is not even worth 1 star. Should have checked with Hellopeter prior to dealing with this company.

Whilst in the process of correcting an error on the payment portion of my CART they appeared to have a server issue and I was asked to re-login. After logging in I noted that my order had in fact been processed. I then contacted customer service and attempted to cancel the order. Fruugo stated I should contact the vendor. The vendor, in turn, rep**** that they were not responsible for payments and bounced me back to Fruugo customer support and there the matter died.

To cut a long story short I was unable to cancel my order and to add insult to injury have just been hit with customs dues and clearance fees which have increased the cost of the order by close to 100%. Did not initially pick up that custom fees were excluded - should have scrutinized the small print more carefully.

It seems that I have been more lucky than others in that I actually received my parcel which, as a matter of interest, arrived via the Post Office and not via a courier as stated on the tracking notification.
