ABSOLUTETLY the worst company ever!!!

ABSOLUTELY The worst company I've ever bought from. On July 19th I ordered an item from the company to see how well it works. Answer: it doesn't. On July 30th I received a shipping update from the carrier that the item could not be delivered as the address was incorrect - it wasn't, unless Fruugo messed it up, I know where I live! - and that it was being held by the courier until they heard from the sender. There was no way I could contact the courier directly. I tried to contact Fruugo to ask them to sort it, but their useless "bot only" support system will not even attempt to look at the delivery until the latest possible delivery time has passed - August 9th!! Speedy, eh? So I could do nothing. I today (August 7) checked my tracking again to find that the item has been returned to Fruugo as they did not reply to requests from the courier about the address. I have had no contact at all about this from Fruugo, who now have my item AND my money. I again tried to contact Fruugo, but can still only access a bot which will do nothing for another 3 days - and I don't for one minute believe I'll get any joy then either. I've had some bad experiences with companies on the internet over the many years I have been using it, but none as bad as this where ANY communication is impossible - any emails are "do not reply", the bot has half a dozen optional problems to which it has set answers, and anything outside those problems cannot be dealt with and you cannot contact them via email. Absolutely the worst possible buying experience, avoid them like the plague!! Further to my review of August 7th, within minutes of leaving that review I received an email from Fruugo support, apologising and saying they would pass my problem to the relevant department and I would hear from them very shortly. It is now the 14th, 7 days later, and I have heard NOTHING! This despite me emailing twice asking for an update. This company is a total farce from start to finish, *********** at best, ******* at worst. I shall continue to update on happenings / lack of happenings, but I'm not holding my breath.
