What a very bad insurer

Not only are you causing so much chaos in settling my claim correctly, but you also perform an unauthorized credit check on my credit profile? Who gave you permission to perform a credit check? You are already bad enough in settling a burglary claim, treating my claim as if I personally requested for the people to invade my house and take my stuff, who would do that in their right mind? The whole claiming process has been nothing but a frustrating experience and I already feel so much pain for other insurers who have trusted their insurance needs under your sorrowful watch. After so much reluctance in settling my claim, you still proceed and perform unauthorized credit checks? I need you to provide me the actual reason why a credit check was performed because I didn't apply for a Frontline insurance recently, and I also require a letter of apology from you stating that the credit check was performed without my consent so that I may send the letter to Trans Union for the removal of the inquiry.

Good day,

We have investigated the matter and respond as follow:

Your claim:

1. With this type of claim an insurer follows a specific methodology to assess the circumstances and the loss.
2. Such methods are the same for every client that experienced a burglary.
3. We have duly appointed an investigator to conduct this investigation .
4. It was established that the list of ****** goods that was provided to the SAP and the list provided to the investigator did not
reconcile and as a result there was a delay in the finalisation of the claim and investigation.
5. With all claims , as per Policy Insurance Contract and requirements , the client has the onus to provide proof that he was the
owner of such claimed goods prior to the loss.
6. According to the information , you were not able to proof ownership or provide proof of purchase for all of the ****** items on
your list.
7. We made an offer to you in settlement of the claim on those items that you were able to provide proof of ownership .
8. You initially rejected the said offer .
9. After you have provided us with more proof of ownership on items , we amended the offer of settlement and finalised the claim .

The Transunion enquiry:

1. We refer to the above complaint .

2. We also refer you to the proposal form and contract signed as per the attached where you provided consent in writing to us to do enquiries about private information .

3. As you have contractually agree to waive your right to privacy in respect of underwriting and claims information , we are of the opinion that we were within our rights as same has been provided by you to do such enquiries.

If you need any further information and /or clarity about above-mentioned statements , kindly advise.

Trusting the above to be in order .

Regards
