Leigh Insurance , Frontline Insurance, Old Mutual
these companies are not to be trusted, i was involved in an MVA on the 05/11/2019 and after submitting my claim the only uplifted my vehicle more that a week later and took it to SMD without my consent or permission, claiming it was a write off, i asked for my vehicle to be moved to a repair center but they refused, I have gotten a quote from another assessor claiming that the vehicle can be repaired. after 33 days the rejected my claim, and now they want me to be liable for almost R17 000 in storage and repatriation fees.

17 Dec 2019, 15:21Good Day
My claim number is DBN171242DOM/1 - MR S GOVINDASAMY - DATSUN ND731236.
Note that SMD has requested for my vehicle to be removed before the 25/12/2019, and they require R 16,739.67, which SMD is claiming to have paid to have my vehicle uplifted from a previous tow company (Aftermath Towing), this amount should have been paid for by the insurer instead of SMD.
