Prejudice isn't even adequate enough
Firstly let me start off by saying I've given a considerable amount of time before writing this message as I wanted to be sure that it was not just anger fueling the feelings I have... Having said so I think it's safe to say it's more of absolute disappointment in Frontline hyper. I have been a customer for a year, having been there for last years spin the wheel as well, and so I was looking forward to the excitement and knowing that I would reach the minimum spend to spin the wheel... this unfortunately turned out as a bad experience. I really am considering if your store is the type of establishment I want to give my loyalty to again.
Every month without fail my monthly purchases are between 2,5K to 3K, this month was 3K, I will attach as many receipts as I can find to prove this. When I got to the front of the queue to spin the wheel there was a family in front of us, they were allowed to let 3 or 4 of their kids all between the ages of say 10 to 16 years old each spin the wheel with their 1 receipt and from those 4 spins choose the highest prize as theirs, this isn't the way I understood it to be conducted and in no uncertain terms is that fair.
When it was my turn I said to the lady surely I am allowed atleast 2 spins which she rep**** no it's only 1 spin and when I mentioned to her that I could have split my groceries and gone 3 times to spin her reply was yes I should have but I am only allowed to spin the wheel once, I then received a cheap shopping bag as the mystery prize, I'm sorry but for a customer who has spent nothing under 36K at your store, I hardly think that is appropriate as a thank you for my loyalty over this year.
To make matters worse the family in front of me got to spin 4 times before choosing their own prize, tell me what makes them more special? when I know that their half a trolley could never have been close to the 3K I had just spent in your store, I left there feeling disgusted in fact!
Is it because they were a Muslim family and I am not? I am not sure that will be favorable to the public who are not Muslim that shop at your store?
At the end of the day loyalty is loyalty and should not be ranked on a matter of a person's religious beliefs. If that is the case then I will take it to every media platform to make the public aware of where their loyalty will not be noticed or appreciated based on their beliefs as this is wrong on so many moral levels.
That aside I am really disappointed at the unfairness of the whole experience and my next question is how many people were allowed multiple chances while others were not ans had to settle for the short end of the stick like pathetic mystery prizes. I have never regretted shopping in a store as much as I did this past Saturday and every month before for the last year...because I see now that my support and loyalty means nothing, clearly the business does so well that my 36K plus is nothing and not of any benefit to Frontline Hyper, from humble beginnings to empire.
P.S (and by the way I've bought yogurt on 4 or even 5 occasions where it's been off, unopened and kept in the fridge, on opening or a day later, the yogurt is sour, which I have had to dispose of, wasting my money, sometimes 2 or 4 tubs of yogurt as my son only eats plain double cream, the special on the Lancewood.) and like a fool every month I overlooked it and kept buying in the hopes that was a issue that wouldn't happen again.
