Front Runner outfitter, False advertising.
On 19/07/2018 i phoned Front runner to order a set of Rock sliders for my Hilux Vigo at the display price of R2750 on the website. Nowhere did the site state that the product has been discontinued. The sales rep. informed me that they do not have stock and that they will no longer sell the item. Monday 23/07/2018 I saw on the website that they do however still sell a complete amour protection set including the rock sliders. At my disappointment Front Runner informed me once again that the items is no longer available. I can not understand how such a reputable company can advertise items that they no longer sell. The website even states that this is available only in SA. After numerous phone call Jay-Jay contacted me with a quote on the same product from a different supplier at more than double the price. I see this as false advertising and the least that Front Runner could do was to provide the product at a discounted rate or even better at the same advertised price. No effort is being made.
