Failure to deliver goods - Excuses

I have purchased diving equipment from the supplier and paid for in full in Dec 2014. The supplier led me to believe that the goods will be delivered immediately. I have only received 8 items of the 34 items to date and he is still hiding behind the excuse that goods are on transit from overseas - 8 months down the line.<br> I have also tried to cancel the order - to no avail - no response, just more excuses.
