Fridgedotcom - Shocking Service!!!!!

My son bought a chest freezer and a fridge from Fridgedotcom

The items were transported to Pretoria. When my daughter got her freezer it was not working. I got an electrician out to come and have a look at it as the owner of the business refuses to send someone out to look at it or fix it. The electrician found a whole list of items wrong with the freezer and a part missing. The owner is trying to convince me that the freezer was working when it was sold to my son. The fridge also had to be fixed as it was also not working when my daughter's friend took delivery of the fridge. the owner did send someone out to fix it but he had to put in extra wires and relay had blown and bypassed it - really?? is that how you fix things by bypassing broken parts.

The owner is insisting that i must first pay R500 for the fridge that he had to fix before he will fix the freezer - REALLY - if the fridge and freezer where working when we bought them, as he claims, why do i need to pay anything!!!!

I have had numerous conversations with the owner of the company trying to resolve this matter, but he refuses!!!!

LIST OF FAULTS ON THE FREEZER: Called to check on chest freezer not working, on further investigation found the following faults: 1 Supply wires just twisted together and insulated with insulation tape. This is a concern as it could a fire hazard. 2 The earth was not connected which is very dangerous as it could cause a shocking hazard 3 The plug feeding the compressor is missing so therefore the compressor could not work 4 The wire from the start capacitor is cut and therefore not connected 5 The compressor is secured with copper wire and has no rubber mounting to prevent vibration to the body of the freezer as well as not being properly secured.
