Selling of expired foods

This morning on the 3rd of January 2022 @ 08:00 I went to freshstop @ 4 Olympia Rd, Brenthurst, Brakpan, to buy bread and I took the Albany brown bread when i got to the till I noticed that it has expired on the 2nd of January 2022 I took it back to the shelf and informed the pie lady and she just looked at me .I feel that it is unfair on us customers to find expired food on shelves and when you try to raise your voice they just ignore you. always check date when buying @ Freshstop
