**PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN FILLING AT CALTEX. THE FILL INCORRECT FUEL AND CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE AND TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY.

I went to fill petrol into my vehicle and the attendant filled diesel into my petrol tank although there is a big notice on my Petrol tank that says "USE UNLEADED PETROL ONLY". I was not aware of his error and I drove a few Kilometers before my car switched off. I called my insurance who arranged for a tow truck to take my car to BMW, I followed all the proper channels in resolving this although I was being shoved from Pillar to post. After 1 month, I finally got told that they will not pay for the consequential damage because they are not insured for it. There was no consequential damage, there was direct damage due to their untrained or *********** staff that the owner of the garage says was the employees error but Chevron/Caltex are now hiding behind their insurance company saying that they are not covered. Absolutely pathetic excuse for a company, Can you believe that a company as big as this cannot take responsibility for their error and their customer services dealing with this is so shoddy let alone the Insurance and/or Broker. Absolutely disgusted by this. Be very careful when filling at Caltex/Freshstop @caltexsa @freststop @chevron- Take responsibility for crying out loud.
