Caltex Freshstop, Belgravia Road, Cape Town. On the 25/02 at about 02:34am, we went to Freshstop Store as it is 24 hour shop. The door and gate were closed. The petrol attendant open the door and said the shop was open. We went to the gate and there was a female dancing in front of the teller (not in uniform in a grey tracksuit). I then asked her to open the gate. She said something to some one and continued dancing. You could see all the employees behind the hot foods counter, literally ignore all of us at the gate. We continued to call out "hello, service please" and were still ignored. Another customer then joined me and we waited and called out to the employees for more than 5minutes. I then took out my phone and started taking pics of the closed door and gate. Suddenly, a man in uniform appeared and shouted at me "why are you taking pics?" repeatedly. He said he was the manager (slightly big guy light of complexion). He was extremely rude giving us all attitude as to why the gate is locked. No apology for taking so long to open the door. I fully understand that safety is important, but when you see customers you need to ensure that you open the door immediately and not just continue with what ever you feel like doing. My concern was for my own safety too, as a female, I was waiting outside for a long period of time. I have been living in the area for the past 30years and regularly use the shop. I will never use this store or filled up at this petrol station. This is extremely disappointing.
