Curtains ruined, no refund

Please explain your definition of service and professionalism? Staff managed to ruin 2 x bedroom curtain sets: discolored, torn and shrunk. They were so dishonest and unprofessional as they had wrapped the curtains in plastic, took full payment for a dry clean service from me and did not say a word. At home I opened the packages and discovered all the damage. Was told to buy new curtains at Curtains & Linens, as they "are insured and the claim has been submitted". This was 3 November. Today 15 December I haven't seen a cent, not the refund for the cleaning and not the refund for the repair of 1 set and replacement of 2nd set. Lots of whatsapp messages full of excuses. I requested to be paid in cash instead of into our bank account, whenever they had enough cash for the refund. There again unsuccessful.
