With a minor conviction on my record for the past 19 years I've been held back from who knows how many job opportunities and promotions. It wasn't until I was recently rejected from a volunteer position with the city that recent changes in the law last required them to disclose the reason being the conviction. Now I can move forward without being discriminated against with an expungement. My only regret is I didn't call Fresh Start sooner.
