Poor service delivery just to make money

It's with great sadness to share my experience when we bought on 2023/12/27 a 1lt fresh pack milk sachet with expiring dated 31Dec 2023 from Spar in 4th ave, Geduld, Springs. The milk is completely sour, undrinkable. What make us even more unhappy and completely unsatisfied is the fact that we reside at Welgedacht agricultural area far away from Spar, Geduld. The fact that we stay there is not the problem of fresh pack dairy. The problem is because my vehicle broke down and because of the holidays we struggle to get the correct parts. So currently my vehicle is unserviceable and we completely relay on friends to assist if they go to Springs to use the opportunity to go with them to buy the necessary we need. Although that doesn't happen often because keep in consideration the cost of petrol. That means you can't every time you need something to jump in the vehicle and go and get what you want. We usually plan ahead and the one time you go to Springs you get everything you need. On arrival at our home when found the milk is sour. Now, we can't just ran back and exchange the milk because, our vehicle doesn't run and the people who assist us have also there own life and can't jump when we want them to. By the time we get the opportunity to go to Spar they will obviously ask why didn't we bring it back on the same day. Although you will explain the reason why they will have their own conclusion. "Things in SA are so cheap it's nothing just to take it and through it away and go a buy new sachet of milk...." We all have plenty money to through in the water and wash it away. I will never buy their products again The milk is sour even before the expiring date..? I wonder what excuse will their be. This message must be spread as far and wide to enlighten all users to be aware of their products when buying it.
