Maintenance & upgrade not up to date

Thank you for the back payment of our key deposit.

I would like to give you feedback in regards with our stay: • Thank you for your hospitality from arriving at your premises. Also when load shedding started you borrowed us your torch.  • The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool that was nice and clean daily (even thou through the rain). • The garden was clean and maintained thru out our stay. • The washing machine and tumble dryer came handy keeping our laundry up to date.

There is lots of things I was REALLY unhappy with: • I paid R1 800.00 per day. Paying that amount of money, every guest will expect everything to be in order and that they get what we paid for. o The white aluminium door entering the house was not clean. The window was dirty and the white of frame had so much dirt on it was actually black of the stuff laying on it. If I put my finger on it you could see my finger print. o I don’t think the electric fence worked at all. • 1st room (next to the garage) : o 1 door of the wardrobe was missing (so when entering the room you see all the clothing) o The rain water came into the room from the garage through the wall. o The door of the room could not close properly. • 3rd room (close to the shower/toilette): o The closet does not have hanging space for your clothes. The clothes rake is not the same level. It looks un-neat. • Bottom bath room: o The door needs to be replaced, because at the bottom it looks like something has eaten it (or it is just the age). The door handle did not even work properly, needs to be replaced. • Living room: o The living room suite is old. The sponge of the suite is worn out, the arm rest side’s just fall off when touching them. o The trellis gate is dirty. o When it rained the water leaked through the roof down the wall were the TV are mounted. o Had to “lock” the wooden door with a loose wooden plank at the bottom. • Kitchen: o Fridge handle cover is broken. The prestick did not work to keep it together. o The utensils needs to be updated to make sure all is in working order and that all fit. Can opener??? o The draws has stains in the inside that can be cleaned. o Some pots underneath the stove looks very warn out and not clean. o Microwave needs to be updated. My mother had the same one in the 80’s. o Some of the Tupperware is broken and dirty. o Some of the cupboards needs to be replaced, it is falling apart and can see there is water damage. o The rinse basin in the kitchen tap if VERY DIRTY. o The slot for the safety door needs to be replaced with a new one. o When it rained the water leaked in the by the wall of the wash basin’s side. • Stairs: o The lights is not working. Having children ages 4 and 8 yrs there must be lights at night so they can see where they are going. • Bedroom on left (2 single beds): o The racks in the wardrobe gives of “shavings” of wood on clothes. The bottom rack falls to the right when you pack your clothes on it. o The carpet in the room, can not say if it is clean. • Main bedroom: o The bed needs a new matrass. o Bath taps needs new seals. For the water not to run the whole time you have to hurt your hand to close the tap. o Right hand side’s basin taps not working.
