Appalling service

<p>I accepted Freight Tech Logistics removal company because their "before service" manner was very good. They were polite and obliging. Their price was more than any of the other quotes but I felt they would do a good job so I accepted.</p> <p>On the day of the move, which was a Friday, they arrived nine hours latedue to them having booked another move that same day. Our arrangement was take my mothers furniture from Johannesburg to Cape Town and deliver it on the following Monday at 09:00hrs. </p> <p>On the Saturday afternoon they phoned to ask if they could deliver the goods on Sunday as they were getting to Cape Town earlier than planned and had already booked a move in Cape Town for the Monday and a collection of a load to return to Johannesburg.</p> <p>I explained that I did not have access to the new apartment but that meant nothing to them. Three different people kept phoning me to demand that we open early for them and pay them the remained of the the fee immediately.</p> <p>The eventually threatened, on more than one occasion, to leave the furniture in the foyer of the building if I would not open early.I said, I will only pay when my mothers furniture was delivered as arranged on the Monday morning.</p> <p>This constant badgering went on until Monday morning.</p> <p>Eventually, once we got the keys to the flat and I proved that the money had been paid over to them, did they bully my mother into signing their paper saying that everything was in good order.</p> <p>This, despite the fact that some items were damaged and broken and some not there at all.</p> <p> </p> <p>I had taken an insurance policy out with them which they REFUSE TO GIVE ME ANY DETAILS ABOUT. I am therefor unable to claim from anybody.</p> <p>They have since accused me of all sorts of things to avoid giving me the details of the policy. I think it is ********** to take money for a policy and then not give anybody the details thereof. I do not believe they took out a policy but took the money for it.</p> <p> </p> <p>HELP PLEASE.</p>
