**** and *********** Dealer

<p>On the 12th February 2019, I purchased a brand new Toyota Corolla 1.6 CVT Prestige Plus from Freeway Toyota, since taking delivery of the vehicle, I've been experiencing numerous and continuous issues. I've taken the vehicle in 5 times, till today, they could not get the issues resolved. Initially, I took up this issue with Sharifa Essop who was the sales person involved in this deal, she was completely *********** and washed her hands off these issues. This matter was then escalated to the sales manager, Adam Mayet, who initially assisted and tried to resolve these issues, being unable to resolve them, he just notified me that this issue needs to be taken up with Toyota South Africa. I had to then escalate this matter with Toyota South Africa who then sent an agent to verify the vehicle, he mentioned that nothing was wrong with the vehicle after which the vehicle was returned to me, this despite me giving them written proof of the numerous faults with the vehicle, which also included a video evidence I took of the problems in the car but they completely failed to acknowledge the issues. For almost 5 weeks, I didn't have the vehicle in my possession due to these issues. During this period, the principle dealer, Mohammed Laher offered to purchase back my vehicle, the offer presented to me was way below what I had paid for the vehicle, leading me to incur a massive loss on the brand new vehicle, this would mean that they made a profit off me during the initial purchase then again profit off me during the buy back. I had been reasonable and request a swap out for a new vehicle with the exact same specifications or refund me, they rejected both the options. So now, I'm stuck with a faulty car which is practically brand new and Freeway Toyota taking absolutely no responsibility in dealing or resolving this issues. I urge you to please be aware of being ****med and de*****ed by the team at Freeway Toyota, especially Adam Mayet and Mohammed Laher. Although they may offer vehicles at lower prices compared to other dealers, but their after sales support is terrible and virtually non-existent.</p>
