Credit report

I received a call today from a very rude lady who insisted that I have an account in areas after I had told her I do not. I then cut the call, only to receive a message stating that I had consented to get my credit reviewed. My question is, is it allowed for people working at the call center who clearly have our personal information to consent on our behalf even though we did not approve? What’s worse is that it was for the first time hearing of the company Freemi Debt Counsellors
