FREEDOM LIFE A NO GO FOR FUNERAL COVER

My uncle’s funeral policy has been fully paid and up to date since inception. My uncle passed away on the 29th of April 2020. Since the 30th of April I have been contacting FREEDOM LIFE INSURANCE daily about my claim for my uncle. FREEDOM LIFE INSURANCE has been telling me that they will get back to me since then. My uncle was laid to rest on the 9th of May 2020. I have been calling every THREE times every single day and spoke to numerous consultants who keep telling me the claim is being processed and is with the verification department. They phoned my uncle’s wife, to confirm how I know deceased. They even asked about what I do for the family as the wife is my aunt. I feel utterly disrespected that in our time of mourning, my aunt together with her children and relatives are being called and interrogated about me. FREEDOM LIFE INSURANCE is deliberately trying to find reason not to pay the claim out. This is in humane and greedy for Freedom Life Insurance to be doing such things where as they were meant to do all these "VERIFICATIONS" before premiums were paid. I don’t know what to do as today I had just delivered groceries to my aunt. They are struggling to eat and make ends meet. FREEDOM LIFE INSURANCE is really giving me the worst service I have ever received from any company and urge anyone who isn't already on a FREEDOM LIFE INSURANCE POLICY TO NOT CONSIDER JOINING THEM. If I didnt make loans for the burial which was last week Saturday the 9th of May. How where we meant to lay my aunt's husband to rest? I have requested all the telephonic recordings that they say they have and now they will have to speak to the manager who I cant speak to who will get back to me regarding this claim. It is now 18 DAYS after I sent through all my documentation and every person I talk to says our manager will get back to you and everytime this happens, I dont receive any communication, I have to phone and get put on hold and explain the story to a different person who tells me the same thing which is "MY MANAGER WILL CALL YOU BACK. Bear in mind that im still grieving with my aunt and trying to support her so that life slowly and gradually gets back to normal but I am unable to do this because FREEDOM LIFE INSURANCE is still VERIFYING things they should have done before accepting Ernest Madikane's premiums. Today I spoke to a senior manager at Freedom Life Insurance and was told that my claim had been rejected due to there being ***** seen by the assessor who gathered information from a relative of the deceased who stays far away from the deceased and refuses to believe my relation to the deceased where it was confirmed by the wife of the deceased and the 3 children that they all had knowledge about the policy and me.

I have been trying to contact the supervisor by the name of Janet and I'm being told she is busy and will call me back.
Must I drive up to Cape Town and bring the deceased person's wife and children to resolve this with Freedom Life reimbursing me for my fuel, accommodation and other expenses occurred?
This is blatant ****** from Freedom Life trying to capitalize on the illiteracy of the family.
