Poor quality and bad service
Good evening,
I am incredibly unhappy with the quality of your pants. You may be fami**** with who I am due to the fact that I have spent so much time repairing and exchanging my pants with you. I'd like to break down the specific issues to give an idea of what I’ve been dealing with over the past 6 months.
Here are the list of Freddy pants that I have owned and currently own as well as the issues highlighted in red: WR.UP® DENIM SKINNY REGULAR RISE IN DARK STRETCH DENIM – Dark Jeans Blue Seams Holes on the inner thigh and crotch area WR.UP® DENIM SKINNY – DARK RINSE Denim Look / Long Length / Low Waist – Black Jeans Black Seams Holes in the crotch area WR.UP® DENIM SKINNY HIGH RISE IN STRETCH DARK DENIM – Dark Jeans Blue Seams Holes underneath the zip WR.UP® COTTON REGULAR RISE IN STRETCH COTTON / LONG LENGTH – Melange Grey WR.UP® SKINNY REGULAR RISE IN ECO-LEATHER – Black WR.UP® DENIM SKINNY LOW RISE GREEN DENIM BIKER DETAIL - (I could not find these on the website) Large holes on the inner thigh and crotch area WR.UP® DENIM SKINNY REGULAR RISE LIGHT DENIM - Light Jeans Yellow Seams (I could not find these on the website) Badge has fallen off TWICE All of the above pants were purchased between February of this year and now - they all vary in price but I would estimate that they're around R2300 each. This brings the total to roughly R17 000 that I have spent with you.
I have received a credit for item 6 and an exchange on item 2 and 3. My most recent interaction with Freddy was at the Clearwater store where the owner (I'm not sure if it's Marlene or Janke) gave me item 7 back after the badge had been repaired, just over a week ago. I asked why I was continually having issues with your pants - as I had heard from one of the staff members that the owner herself had found holes in her 7 month old pants. The staff member also said that there's no need to hide the fact that you are having massive quality problems and specifically eluded to your denim fabric range. After I mentioned this, the owner got very defensive and imp**** that the size S may be incorrect for me and that's why I'm having problems - a couple of weeks before she herself recommended that I get a size S of item 5 on my list.
At this point I would like to emphasize that I am very clear on the washing instructions for all Freddy pants, including the wipe only instructions for item 5 on my list. I also ensure that I fit the pants on as carefully as possible. Just in case you were going to run with that excuse...Which brings me to now, the badge on the back of item 7 has come off AGAIN, and I have only had them back for a week.
I am at a loss for words, I just don't know what to do anymore. I have a few questions for you: What is your plan and strategy going forward to ensure better quality pants for your customers? I personally will be placing this email on every social media and complaint forum I can find due to my frustration and disappointment. Are your owners, managers and staff members properly equipped to deal with this massive issue that Freddy is encountering? I would prefer not to be told that I don't fit into my pants as I'm sure you can understand. Very bad customer service in my view. What is your plan to repair item 7 on my list? Will I have to yet again go back to your clearwater store and deal with the defensive owner? Will I then have to wait for over a week to have the badge sewn back on? This is unacceptable in my view. I eagerly await your response and am hopeful for a resolution. As you can clearly see I am a fan of the brand but I honestly feel that I could be spending my money on better quality pants elsewhere.
