*****elant Private Seller of Golden Retriever Puppies in Alberton
<p>Hi, I need advice please. We bought a Golden Retriever puppy (after we saw the add on Gumtree) in Alberton on Sunday 22 Jul ‘18 from Jeromé Botha (Cell no: ********** and ********** ) - driving around in a silver Volvo (unfortunately I do not have the vehicle registration number). His address is Vaalbos Str, Mayberry Park, Alberton. On our way to Alberton I asked him to drop me a pin on Whatsapp with his address. When we arrived at the location he sent me, the intersection of JG Strydom and Swartkoppies Rd I phoned him asking to give me directions to his house. He said he will meet me at the BP garage just opposite from where we were. About 5 min later he arrived at the BP garage and he brought the puppy with. We (my wife and 2 boys) had a look at the puppy and I did an EFT payment to his FNB bank account. Our puppy, Ella, was admitted to Pierre van Ryneveld Vet Thursday 26 Jul 18 with Parvo Virus “kat griep” lying in intensive care, only 9 weeks old. We received her vaccination card when we got her indicating she had her first shot. But, like the vet told me, there is NO vet stamp or even a signature so no proof that she actually had the shot. Both our other dogs vaccinations are up to date so she could not have contracted the virus from them. I phoned Jeromé Botha from whom we bought her but he ignores my phone calls and text messages. I am furious, this individual clearly feel nothing for the dogs he is selling and seems only interested in making a lot of money. I drove to his address on Sunday 29 Jul 18 but his neighbors told me they saw him 4 years ago. My question is how do I prevent other people from buying from him in future? The vet told me yesterday that I haven’t done anything wrong, all seemed legit and she suggests he pay for my vet bill which is going to be a couple of thousand rand! I want this person to be exposed for the ***** he is... Any suggestions?</p>
