Bad Experience at Frasers Luggage in Menlyn

I would like to share my bad experience at Frasers Luggage in Menlyn this morning. We went to buy 3 suitcases from them, and was assisted by Mpho Gonubie. First we were told that there were no discount available, which we accepted and we proceed with the payment. Then we were told by the lady at the till, that we indeed could get 7,5% discount, but because they were off line, no discount could be given as the online system was needed to activate the discount. We asked if they could then phone request the discount, but they refused, insisting that they could not phone or get permission for the discount as the system was off line.!!!!!So we payed the full amount , which was R5040.00, without any discount, as the system was off line. That really was ridiculous as we qualified for the discount but due to the unwillingness of the 2 assistants we had to leave without the discount. So if the lame excuse of an off line system prevents the customer from a discount, Frasers Luggage wont ever see me again!!!
