Disgusted with the service received and lack of covid-19 safety measures

Absolutely disgusted and disappointed at the service received at station pub this past Sunday. We decided on station pub to celebrate our engagement with my parents and booked a table for 2pm on Friday already( after which we were told it's not necessary to book as they won't be busy). My parents were there waiting since 12pm for us and we arrived at 2pm. Firstly, the place was packed. No social distancing between tables whatsoever and no temperatures being measured of clients walking in by the door. This is shocking. After ordering our second drink we were then told that the kitchen had closed and no orders would be taken for food for another 1,5-2 hours. The manager (a woman whose name I do not know and who also wore no mask) had the most horrible attitude when my dad complained that no one came and warned us of the kitchen closing. My fiance and I were also not told about this when we walked into the restaurant otherwise if we had known we couldnt order lunch we would have gone elsewhere. The day manager(female) has no people skills whatsoever and we are shocked at how she spoke to us. We've been going to station pub for years as it was our favourite restaurant but the service received was terrible and I'm shocked at the managers attitude and lack of people skills.
