Burst Franke Geyser

I have a 200 ltr Franke Geyser that was purchased in July 2016 with a 5 year warranty. Yesterday the geyser burst and I contacted the Franke Geyser call centre and submitted all the relevant documentation required by them. Proof of purchase, installation images, plumbers report only to be told after submitting all this documentation that my warranty is void due a loop hole in the legislation around a release value that has had absolutely no influence in the geyser failing. Franke is using this as a very convenient scapegoat. I would warn anyone that is thinking of supporting this company or purchasing their products to be very carful because they don't honour their warranties.
