No response or feedback

As a long standing client who pays my premiums and keeps things ticking in the background, one would think that when the unfortunate time comes to claim that the provider would actually do something.

At the end of Feb 2017 I was retrenched and needed to claim against my Frank.net retrenchment policy in order to ensure that my family would be provided for whilst I seek employment (the very reason for this cover). I completed a mountain of documents and submitted them as requested, in most cases I provided more than they asked for. I spoke to my claims manager and was advised that they had everything they needed and I was now within my 3 month deferment period and could expect payment at the end of May 2017 with feedback between.

Fast forward till today, I have sent no less than 2 mails over as many weeks to enquire on the status of my claim, this morning I figured that they were not receiving emails for whatever reason and called instead, when I phoned I got some half asleep person on the phone who told me that they needed my employer to complete a form and could not contact them, if this was the case they should contact me and I would drive to the offices of my employer to help expedite things - I was then told that they only make payments on the first of the month but my claim manager would contact me.

Now I am unsure what exactly is going on here, I am depending on my policy to cover me while I try and find employment in a extremely tough economic climate, I have 2 kids, a wife and 2 eldery parents that rely on my income - this was my safety net but it seems that Frank is only pretends to be interested when selling you a policy and does not carry through when the time comes.

I am gravely dissappointed in the service I am receiving, the days of sit back and wait while we think about things are long gone, the times have changed.
