Supplier voiding Customer's CPA Warranty Rights

Took the Levis takkies in for refund on 13.08.2016 which was purchased on 19/03/2016 as product was defected from poor quality.

The stores refund policy online states that customers must refer to the CPA for terms of their refund policy (CPA – customers may choose for refund on poor quality goods), but in-store, the store manager (Simone) insisted that Franco Ceccato only has a 3 months warranty on goods that are defected and refuses to adhere to the CPA imp**** warranty of 6 months.

Simone then agreed on accepting the takkie 13.08.2016 and asking higher management on decision on refund and would contact my mom on result on 16.08.2016, which no respond was received, during the week my mom approached the store for result on the refund, but no decision was achieved. Further on 29.08.2016, I approached Simone insisting for answer on decision, which Simone respond was that the good was handed to the store after 6 months and that the company’s policy is that goods only come with 3 months warranty. The goods was purchased and received on 19.03.2016 and the takkie has crack on side within 5 months and was handed to the store for refund within 5 months from date of purchase.
