Unnecessarily costly, unprofessional and don't give deposit back. I would NOT recommend

Fourways vet over charges. After my puppy had eaten chocolate the vet said that the cost could reach 8000. I was required to put down a holding deposit of 4k and was told that id receive feedback before a certain time, which didn't happen. 8pm came so I decided to get into my car and find out what was going on. When I got to the vet they said that they would prefer to keep my dog overnight for safety sake which I really thought was unnecessary after chatting to numerous people whose dogs were much smaller than mine and ate much more and darker chocolate than mine. Also my puppy looked and was completely fine without the overnight stay. From the deposit 1k wasn't used and I was told it would be refunded back to my account. 4 days went by and still no refund reflected. I then emailed not once, but twice to request the refund. My dog visited this vet 2 weeks ago and the refund is still not in my account. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They're costly and are unprofessional
