Fourways Vet Hospital

I took my Furry baby to Fourways Vet Hospital last week and was advised by the Vet that she had Diarrhea and she was booked in. She later advised me that she needed to be in hospital for 3 days and was more interested in telling me about how much its going to cost me. When I visited her in the afternoon I was shocked to see how badly they cut her fur around her buttocks. I took her out to the lawn area and was even more shocked to see how filthy the area was with dog faeces all over the places and yet they expect clients to walk their dog in this area. When I visited her in the evening my dog clung onto me. If it wasn't for the Drip she was on I would have taken her home there and then. The next morning I went to the Hospital and told the receptionist of my experience and advised her that I will be checking my dog out and will nurse her at home and if need be I will book her into another hospital, The Vet on duty did not want to hear what I had experienced. When I questioned the Vet about the pathetic condition of the area she said that someone else is building next to them . Does this qualify them not to remove the dog faeces and keep the place in a hygienic condition? My opinion is that the standards of his hospital has drastically deteriorated and operates like a factory. Very disappointing. My Furry baby has fully recovered at home.
