Double Trouble sorted at Fourways Vet Hospital

Two of our Dachshund puppies contracted Parvo Flu during holiday in KZN. They were under some treatment as a Vet in KZN did not want to allow our puppies in the consulting rooms. On the way back on 9 January 2021 from KZN (with expected arrival at home at approximately 16:15) we phoned a number of Veterinarian Rooms and we were lead to the Fourways Vet Hospital, a facility that was open "after hours". Fourways confirmed that our puppies had Parvo Flu and they were admitted. Dr Robyn Bester phoned us every morning with feedback on the progress on our "double trouble". In her verbal reports one could sense the knowledge, commitment, care and most of all the professionalism exercised by Dr Robyn Bester. Dr Bester managed to achieve the almost impossible (as the mortality rate under puppies with Parvo Flu is high) by pulling both through and sending them home, cured!! Well done Doctor, you have managed to change our family's perception on Veterinarians because of a very bad experience some 15 years ago. Keep up the enthusiasm and professionalism and please take care and keep safe in these trying times.
