A real ****

<p>Fri 25/11/16 my Amstaff had pups. Sat sadly we lost 1 to fading puppy syndrome. Sun afternoon the remaining 5 started fading. At about 9 we lost 1. Trying to save the remaining 4 we decided to call fourways vet hospital and explained puppies were dying and why, and asked if they could save the 4 or let nature run its course. To which was rep**** 'yes bring them in quickly we can definitely save them'</p> <p>so rushed there quickly, fill in forms and wait. While waiting 2hours for vet to see us another 2 pups died. (Fading pups NEED to be kept warm, which vet also explained, but whilst telling us this vet lays pups on table open, no blankets and aircon on 20.C blowing directly on pups. Checks temps, takes the weaker pup away to give 2 drops of dextrose and says sorry there's no treatment for fading puppy syndrome. She held the weak pup and said this ones not gonna make it far should I just euthanize him now?? The words had just left her mouth and he was gone. Tried to squeeze out extra for euthanization. Conned us into bringing pups in to "definitely saving" them knowing full well nothing could be done and making us pay R1310 to make us wait 2hours, do no treatment. I am disgusted and appalled that they could do that to pet owners. </p>
