CONTROLLERS THAT ARE DISRESPECTFULL TO THE DRIVERS !!!

4PL.Com (Pty) Ltd(4PL Fleet in Mbombela ) in this day and age it is quite disappointing and devastating that there are companies that are that are still treating people /employees in this manner ,and when looking in to the matter it is quite clear that these instructions are coming from the higher management of the company.

The issue is about the controllers of the company that are holding employees as hostage , not communicating to them about their decision but deciding and making drastic decision about them with out communicating to them . in this case the company is shortage of drivers and now forcing the existing ones to carry the load of the company as a whole .

drivers are being disrespected by the Controllers telling them that they should continue working as they say even though they have reached their 21days of driving in the road and making sure that what is expected out of them is done as drivers . but instead of communicating to them, drivers are bul**** in continuing working because they are afraid of losing their jobs .

After this 21 days of driving non-stop and making sure that the product is delivered on the designated destination, the drivers has a right of 7days off , which was agreed by the NBCR ,but seems like the company is turning a blind eye on that and making employees to work more then the stipulated number of days without their consent .

Controllers have questions that they ask to the drivers that are very much disturbing when the drivers are about to take their 7days .

* Where am I suppose to get the driver ? *How are you making plans about your life as our truck driver ? *Am I suppose to come and drive that truck my self ?

the above is taken as abusing of power and using the employees to work excessively for the company , the drivers has fears of losing their jobs should they not comply of with what has been delegated to them ,the controller duties are to Ensure that shipping methods complying with rules, regulations and laws ,Recruiting and coordinating logistics staff (e.g. truck driver's) according to requirements and availabilities. Monitoring quality control and keeping transportation at optimal levels.

according to the above mentioned none of the above laws are taken in to consideration ,this statement will be taken to the relevant entities that deals with the rights of the employees should there be no action taken about this matter ,
