Verbal Attack By Fournos Staff

I went to Fournos bakery (the one opposite Dischem at Mall of the South) on Saturday the 2nd of April. I had a R20.00 note and bought a croissant which cost R11.00. The cashier then gave me back my change in 50cents coins (my change was R9.00, so there were 18 coins), so I asked her to change it for me and give me better change. She then rudely told me the supervisor was not there which meant she couldn't get the till to open because she needed the supervisor's card. I told her I would wait but that was when she and her colleague whose name is unknown to me attacked me verbally, telling me the reason I am complaining about the change was that I expected them to jump when I got there and this accusation came out of nowhere. The colleague then also attacked me telling me they could not drop everything for me.

This was appalling and shocking as it stemmed from nowhere. I was so upset that I even told them to keep the R 9.00 coins and left. Therefore due to this abusive behavior from people who were meant to give me good service, I will NEVER be seen dead at FOURNOS BAKERY EVER AGAIN. I AM SO TRAUMATISED BY THE INCIDENT. I COULD NOT GET OVER THE SHOCK. THIS WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
