Fournos service is appalling

I have been going to fournos in Bedford center for years. I finish work at 5 an rush there to get dinner they have never had a problem when. We come in at 17:30 for a take away and some pastries but yesterday we walked in at 17:25 went to the counter and waited 5 minutes before anyone came over, we asked for a menu and the lady handed us one, after we looked at the menu she told us that the kitchen was closed could we not see all the staff standing behind us. Highly unprofessional and very disappointed.
