Exasperated customer of Fournos, Dunkeld

I guess the old saying 'The height of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result' is true. I believe in giving second chances but Fournos in Dunkeld's chances have finally run dry! The service from the waitrons is nothing short of disgusting and too often non existent. On Friday I decided, against my better judgement, to once again stop in at the Dunkeld branch for a coffee freezo. My husband agreed, against his better judgement as well, to meet me there. We sat outside on the patio. After being ignored by 2 of the waitrons (surprise, surprise) I eventually got up and went to a cashier inside and asked if someone could please come and take my order. I ordered a freezo and my husband ordered a capuccino. My freezo looked like something out of a horror movie and I voiced my opinion to the waitron. However, I proceeded to drink it to find that it had no taste at all other than the taste of ice. I called one of the waitrons (not the one who served us because she was nowhere to be found) and was ignored. My husband then called the same waitron and guess what????......he was also ignored. I might add that there were very few customers as it was already 5pm.... I went inside the restaurant and spoke to one of the managers. He totally understood my frustration and said that he would address the problem. Regrettably I have no faith or belief that the problem was in fact addressed as it obviously never has been despite several complaints in the past. Why doesn't the manager on duty walk around and enquire as to whether the customers are satisfied and if not, the problem can be addressed immediately? Several of my friends and colleagues (our office is in Hyde Park) refuse to support Fournos for the above reasons and would rather go to any one of the other centres close by, even if we are charged for parking. All we ask for (and I dont believe it is unreasonable) is to be able to sit down, relax and have a pleasant meal / coffee. Is it too much to ask?
