Fourbuy - Run: Dishonest & Sneaky!

I saw a stunning 2021 BMW X1 on Autotrader advertised by Fourbuy for R539k and arranged to view, test drive on 15/12. I kept communicating with the salesperson Mateja there onwards and was informed that they were in the process of confirming with BMW on the service & warranty status of the car. I kept following about that as I was arranging finance and even accepted an offer to sell my current vehicle, only for Mateja to inform me today (19/12) that the car "had no service history due its low mileage". He then sent a followup message saying he had "just been informed" that "BMW had voided the warranty and motor plan due to the original engine being replaced by BMW due to water damage" but an additional warranty was available at a cost. Mateja apologized and swore he had no idea the warranty was voided, quite unlikely as the Autotrader listing even advertised an additional warranty without declaring that the OEM warranty had been voided. I'm so grateful I discovered this before selling my current car and buying R540k lemon but this shadiness must be exposed: shame on you, Fourbuy!
