Customer relation and sales building

I enquired for a specific product's price (1000L water tank).

The response received was for a price far more than what is being advertised on water tanks double the size (R3700). I however responded as I thought they perhaps misunderstood my enquiry for a 2000L tank instead of the 1000L needed. To my shock the following response in capital letters was received:

"PLEASE GO AND BUY YOURSELF A 2000 L IMMEDIATELY

THAT IS IF YOU CAN GET HOLD OF ONE

WE ARE NOT BEGGING YOU TO BUY A TANK-WE ARE ONLY OFFERING TANKS AT THE BEST PRICES IN THE WESTERN CAPE.

GOOD BYE"

Due to the dire situation that Cape Town is experiencing, I understand that Water Tanks are being sold at a premium rate as supply and demand takes priority.... but this just leaves a nasty taste.

The water tanks suppliers are enjoying the bubble in sales... I guess we wait till next year when they start begging for sales again.
