Founding Fathers Fund Landlord - Dont expect to see your deposit from them

This commercial landlord is to be avoided. We wanted to lease a space from them, but could not come to an agreement on some of the clauses of the lease. Such as Clauses giving the lessor SOLE DISCRETION over our deposit. We would like our deposit of R18 000.00 refunded . But this landlord has offered to pay us R206.00 of our deposit. He has claimed repairs made to the property, which is fair enough, but he has claimed as an expense, rental we would have paid in August, had we entered into an agreement.. Greedy.
