Revolting Customer Service

<p>I made a booking and was quoted by Mavolien (who sounded like a Coloured lady over the phone), seems like she handles everything from bookings, to quotes, checkins etc. the booking was for 1 night friday 16th till the 17th. so the day before I called her and asked her if i should pay a deposit and she insisted on a "cash on arrival policy" then she asked me what time i will be checking in and i told her that it should be sometime in the afternoon. the only thing she said was " i expect all our guest to arrive and check in before they go to whatever event". Due to unforseen circumstences i only managed to arrive in the city just after 9pm, 21:12 to be exact. we noticed that the reception had been closed and i pleaded with one of the tenants if he could let me in so i can go check if anyone was around to assist me. I then noticed an EMERGENCY number and dialled trying to explain my story, the same lady answered and she said that she couldn't do anything and that i should leave the premises emmediately. I was appauled by her behaviour and the tone that she used, when i requested to speak to her superior she then became angry told me that she definitly will not assisting me because i had threatened her, following that she droped the call while i was still talking to her. I acknowledge the fact that the business hours had passed but in this kind of situation i would have atleast expected her to show a bit of compassion instead she was extremely rude. I am really disappointed by the Services i was rendered and for as long as she is still part of the team I will not be making any bookings nor recommend anyone to book at the Lodge. I really hope that the owner recieves this complaint and takes action against her. I cannot go into details but my cousin had a similar problem the following day trying to check in, the manner in which this lady deals with customers is APPAULING. Thanks to IKHUTSE MANOR i was able to get accomodation, maybe Mavoen can learn a few tips from them. </p>
