Foto Discount World : terrible experience

I wouldn't advise using Foto Discount World. I took them up on the 13 December 2019 special of 13% discount on a video camera. I called Herman and he advised Canon SA has stock and i can place my order and email proof by close of business that day, which I did. I was told i will get it before 20th December 2019. Days passed and emails and Whatsapp messages were ignored. I was then told that Canon SA was delaying the delivery. After reading up on the internet about other bad experiences with Foto Discount World I called CanonSA and asked them about the delay and they stated that deliveries are done within 48 hours however Foto Discount World will not be getting any cameras from them due to certain issues. I called Herman and he stated that I will still get the camera. However i asked for a refund and then he started to get edgy and said i must wait for the new year. I then called Canon SA to assist and they contacted the owner of FDW and asked them to refund and stop leading clients on. I eventually got my refund but lost out on the Canon 13% special offer if I purchased from another store on the day.
