Watch repair - 3 months later and still not workin
In December, I took my wife's Fossil watch into Watch Republic (Fossil's customer care/repair centre) to be repaired as it stopped working. They checked the battery and told me that the mechanism must be faulty and they would need to keep the watch for 2 weeks to repair it. I had to follow up with them after 3 weeks, to then be told they had to order a new mechanism for the watch and that would take another 3 weeks. After constantly following up after each deadline given by them, they eventually sent me an SMS to say the watch was ready for collection.

When I collected the watch at the end of February, they told me they only replaced the battery (which was fine when I took it in) and there were new issues with the mechanism. When they took the watch out of their cupboard, they had to set the time as it was couple of hours behind (after a new battery was installed). Later that day it stopped working altogether. I took it back to them again, and they said they would replace the mechanism this time. 3 days later it was supposedly replaced, but the watch stopped working the next day.

Please would Fossil now get involved and rectify this terrible service.
