Shattered watch

On Saturday 19 December I went to Fossil Woodlands Mall to replace my watch battery. I was the only customer in the shop and according to the staff no one was able to help me with the battery as they were all busy? I was in no hurry so I left my watch there to collect later. When I got back to the shop I was told that my watch has been shattered and that I should pick a new watch to the value of R2000 (I paid R3500 for my watch not even a year ago) as this was a very special gift from my husband I really wanted my watch. When I asked to see my watch the sales person said that it is better not to. After a huge discussion I eventually got to see my watch, it looked as though it was hit with a hammer! It was completely shattered in million peices. The sales person then had the audacity to tell me they are not watch makers! Seriously! I did not ask you to make a watch, I asked to replace the battery. Its been 5 weeks now and I have not heard a word from Fossil. Highly disgusted with the attitude and service from the staff.
