Poor casing on fossil smart watch

I’ve been a long time Fossil fan and was so excited about this watch as it looked like an ordinary watch but had great functions. What a disappointment. After just two month the watch fell on a wooden floor and the casing completely broke. I didn’t expect this! Fossil replaced this watch with a new one. However, the new watch broke in exactly the same place while trying to replace the strap. Surely a watch with changeable straps should not break o. The casing where the straps attach! When I contacted fossil they have explained that the casing is Not under warranty. Very disappointing as it is part of the watch and this is clearly a weakness of the watch. After years of only buying fossil, sadly this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and I won’t be buying again.
